Introduction

Portrait of Professor Myung Geol Choi

I am a researcher in the field of computer graphics, focusing primarily on the generation and control of movements for virtual characters and objects using data-driven artificial intelligence techniques. I apply these research techniques to solve problems in digital twins, virtual reality, and augmented reality applications. I received my B.S. in Computer Engineering from Kyungpook National University in 2004 and I earned my Ph.D. in Computer Graphics from Seoul National University, South Korea in 2010, followed by postdoctoral research at the University of Tokyo in Japan and the University of Edinburgh in the UK. Since 2014, I have been a professor in the Department of Computer Science at the Catholic University of Korea.

I am currently leading the Computer Graphics Lab at the Catholic University of Korea.
